Welcome to ICRA2010


The 2010 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA2010) will be held in Anchorage, Alaska, May 3 - 8, 2010. The theme of the conference is ”50 Years of Robotics,” reflecting on the amazing achievements of the field and the broad impact of robotics and automation research, development and education. Embraced by six mountain ranges and warmed by a maritime climate, Anchorage is alive year round with adventure, recreation, seasonal festivities, sporting events and more. Recognized as a four-time All-America City and surrounded by spectacular wilderness, Anchorage is an adventure waiting to happen!
 

Announcements:

May 8, 2010: ICRA 2010 concluded today. We would like to thank the robotics and automation community for your enthusiastic participation with nearly 1600 registrants. We hope you enjoyed Anchorage and look forward to seeing you at ICRA 2011 in Shanghai.

May 5, 2010: The boarding time for the Banquet train is between 4:00 pm and 4:45 pm. You must board the train by 4:45pm.

May 3, 2010: ICRA tourism desk will be open at specified time and locations.

Apr 29, 2010: Please visit the On Site page for information needed as soon as you arrive (registration hours, emergency contact number, local transportation, wireless access, weather, free raincoats, information about boarding the train, etc.).

Apr 23, 2010: A new option for a banquet is available. For people who don't wish to go on the train or who don't have tickets, an alternate banquet has been planned at the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

Apr 6, 2010: The conference room blocks at the Hilton and Marriott will be expiring on April 9. After that day, rooms are likely to be more expensive (if available at all).

Apr 5, 2010: Student travel awards have been announced and the winners have been notified.

Apr 1, 2010: The technical program is now final.

Mar 30, 2010: Conference Banquet tickets are sold out because the train is currently at capacity. All registrants after today will be placed on a wait list.

Feb 1, 2010: The schedule for workshops and tutorials is available here.

Jan 30, 2010: The registration site is live.  You can submit the final paper/video via PaperPlaza.
