Things to do in Anchorage
Depending on transportation available you can do things simply downtown (museums, the planet walk, the coastal trail) or branch out to the outlying areas (Driving up to the overlook at Flattop if the weather is nice, seeing Eklutna glacier, even just driving to Girdwood is gorgeous).
