Conference Registration Check-In Desk
 
The Conference Registration Desk will be located on the Street Level of the Egan Center. For your convenience, the registration desk will be opening during the following hours for you to check-in:

Hotels and Conference Site
 
All hotels and the train station (where the conference banquet train will depart from) are within a 5 minute walk of the conference site. See Conference Venue. The conference banquet will be held on a train.
Coffee, Drinking and Dining
 
The Egan and Dena'ina Centers (where all the conference activities will be held) and the Hilton Hotel (where the society meetings will be held) are close to many fine Anchorage  restaurants and coffee shops. There is a Starbucks right outside the Egan Center. The seafood is excellent, especially the halibut. The Conference Chair's recommendations are available here
 
Breakfasts and Lunches: Please visit the many surrounding restaurants/coffee shops before sessions start in the morning for breakfast. You will find a Restaurant Guide, courtesy of the Anchorage Convention Bureau, in your Conference material bag.
 
Workshop Breaks (Monday and Friday): Mid-morning and afternoon breaks will be provided in both the Egan and the Dena’ina buildings.
 
Conference Breaks (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday): Mid-morning and afternoon breaks will be provided. Coffee service will be located in the Lobby of the Egan Center and Food service for breaks will be located in the Exhibit Hall (LaPerouse Room). Please note that there will not be an afternoon break on Wednesday.
 
Lunch: The Conference will not be providing lunches for the Workshops, Tuesday or Wednesday, except for those of you attending the Bird of a Feather Women’s lunch on Tuesday or the GOLD lunch on Wednesday. All Conference attendees are welcome to join us on Thursday for the ICRA 2010 Conference Award Ceremony. A limited number of box lunches will be available and served on a first come, first served bases.
Wireless Internet Service
 
Complimentary wireless service will be available in both buildings. There is no fee to connect to this service, but there are a limited number of people that may be connected at one time. We ask that you limit your usage to be considerate of other attendees and please logout once you are finished.
 
Egan Conference Center: Select one of the ICRA lines from the list of available networks. A password will not be required.
 
Dena’ina Conference Center: Select the Dena’ina line from the list of available networks. A password will not be required.
Announcements and Messages
 
Please know that there will be an announcement and message board near the Conference Registration Desk. Please check daily for any new changes to the program schedule or Conference details.
Ground Transportation
 
The Conference hotels and the convention center are in the downtown area. A cab from the airport costs approximately $20. The Conference hotels are between two and five minutes walk from the Convention Center. The downtown is fairly compact and you will not need a car to get around, but if you want a car for site seeing, please visit the Conference website for details.
